My Pregnancy: Week 13

Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce.

In other news, my baby sister, Kassi, is having her baby today! As of right now, she is 9 cm dilated and feeling VERY ready to push. She decided to have a completely natural delivery which I am so proud of her for. If anyone can handle a natural birth, its my amazingly strong sister. I'm so excited to see beautiful pictures of my baby nephew and meet him in July! Prayers would be appreciated! I'll update all of you as soon as I know anything new! :0)

  1. I didn't realize sis did a natural childbirth! I had natural with both Chloe and Haley and they were only 6 pound babies! My sister's first was a 10 pounder, too, and she did it at home with midwives. 24 hour labor! yuck! Your sis is amazing for doing it natural and giving birth to such a big boy! We all knew this baby was gonna be big... and he was! Your sis is awesome!!
Glad to hear your lil' shrimp is growing and getting bigger each day! See you this Sunday for Marc's blessing!!! love ya!
